Hawidle are a de facto Hawiye for their deeds against the Ogadeen and Dhulbahante in 1991. I am told that 3 out every 4 Dhulbhante who went through Hiiraan was buried there

yea, the hawadle massacred ogadeens. They are hawiye after the civil war , but hawiye is just a confederation of tribes anyways, even jareer are officially hawiye.

Believe it or not I went through Hiiraan and they set us free after we paid them 150. It's all about Money. Might be the Ogadens didn't' want to pay?

I always tell my Dooro boys, Hawiye is just a state of mind. With the right frame of mind, anyone can be Hawiye.

My Tuuni friend was telling me that Marehan are actually part of Tuuni who use the Darood name for protection. Any truth to that?
