I stopped eating Fast Food for a month

Good move. Now the next thing to do is to cut soda out of your life all together. It is really bad! I like 15 lbs in less than a month by taking the train instead of driving and by eating only grilled fish I made myself and fruit juices. Everyone thought I caught AIDS or something because I looked so much skinner and I did not look as healthy as I was before.

I thought you liked white guys. I am sure they won't mind it.

I don't eat fast food at all, somehow I hate it and I don't drink soda or anything in that category. My dislike has nothing to do with me watching my health, I just don't like em'.

I eat steak fish with rise a lot at this Somali bistro near my house, its nice, grilled. Sometime lamp steak done the Somali way with Sabayad or Pasta, I just call in and this qaldaan dude who owns the joint has it ready by the time I'm on my way home.

Don't eat breakfast, never have but I always have an apple, a mandarin and a banana in the mornings.

I drink sport drinks a lot, Powerade mostly. Water and Mango juice, Guava Grape juice and orange.

That's healthy.

Qansa, nah I don't have the accent mate. I can try but it wont last. My parents, the only time they themselves have an accent is when they are around their own. Other times, they have normal semi-banadir accent.

My mom's is amazing though, because as soon as one of her own people's comes over; she comes out with this hardcore Samaroon accent that you can't imagine, she sounds like a typical Jaboutian even though she ain't been there for over 35 years.

A black woman without some meat on the rear is just weird..and not usual to say the least.

I never eat junk food..except when I take my nephews and nieces down there...but I have gained some weight..regardless.

I guess it has more to do with my drinking....drinking a lot of water that is..like 8-10 bottles a day.

Good on you Razz, fast food is disgusting. I dont think I have had any since 2003. Now, try and quit drinking soda and replace it with water or green tea.

Bottled green tea(Lipton and others) contains high fructose corn syrup. It is not much different from say a Pepsi.

You should really compare the two products Qansa. A 20oz bottle of Pepsi contain almost 70g of Sugar and its 100calories while the same bottle of GT contians 20 somthing grams of Sugar and almost 40 calories less. Pluse GT contains antioxidants. But its better if you make your own and use sweetners like Splenda instead of real sugar.

Depends on what type of fast food you eatin

i normally eat pizza every week and i only drink water and if i crave soda i try to find them shids that dont got sugar...them sprite zeros and ish
