I would try to kill as many as possible and make it look like, they died in a accident, that way, there would be enough food for me and the lady I let live because of mating and chit. Think about it, what if we somehow we fell down a hole while waiting for rescue and we ended in the center of the earth, where there's forest, water, dinosauros, daimonds etc. I might wanna start my own race. 8)
