Whatever its a qaldaan thing only if she was marrying a non reer waqoyi u wouldnt have made it right thats wat i tought, plus its good and tasteful my Mom gets one everytime and is always making one.

yes we made for my other cousins as well and it was udeejeen on udeejeen wedding..the thing that makes it qaldaan is the box they put it in and the white cloth they wrap around it... but as far as i seen majority of somalis use timir la qooshay with oodkac.. you qaldaans wrap it and make it fancy and called it xeero or whatever
