'Abdi' means slave. Its not even a name. It is followed by the names of Allah. How anyone can diss them is unbelievable. Same goes for 'Abdul'.
Saeed, Or Zayd, Zaid, Za'eed whatever.. is the name of the companions of the prophet (saw)

Halimo, is the name of the woman who breast-fed the Prophet (saw), brought him up and looked after him in the desert.

Yusuf is a beautiful name. It is the name of the Prophet! A whole Surah to this name.. and this Prophet and likewise name is associated with his beauty!. MashaAllah, I know alot of revert brothers with this name.

I'm getting tired of these "worst Somali names" topics, frankly. People should think before they post, half the names you've listed are NOT even Somali names, they're Arabic names, and they're either the names of a Prophet, or a companion of the Prophet (saw) or the Prophet's wife or wet nurse.

Please, engage your brain before you post, and save yourself the dambi of saying bad things about names which have beautiful meanings.

Qamar:- It means moon, I think you're thinking about Khamr which means alcohol. There's a whole Surah in the Qur'an called Qamar.

Libax:- Means tiger/lion, personally, I haven't met anyone with that name. But it's usually used as a nickname. Did you mean to say Libaan?
