I along with countless others was watching the World Cup in Xamar in 2006 while the whole Western media was writing the Courts banned soccer.

The Courts didn't have the technology nor the logistics to ban anything, they only closed down porn "cinemas" which were more like houses with big screen TV's that showed X rated material, even to kids as long as they had Sh. So 1000 to enter.

My adeer went to Xamar when the courts tool over and he watched the world cup there. How do people get that soccer was banned.

My grandmother who also went to Xamar said the top 2 reasons people didn't like the courts is because they banned khat and made everyone wake up for salat subax.

What the hell they are banning drugs and making u pray on time and thats is why people didn't like them. Somali's are messed up.

My favorite lie of all time from that era was that the courts sent 70 soldiers to fight Israel in Lebanon.
I remember reading that and just laughing. The retarded western media actually took that report seriously after reading that though.

Mine too, the correct figure was 700 though from what I recall. Reuters & the AP were dishing out anything & everything that would demonize the courts, it was a media pallooza. Sensationalizing the most ridiculous of things.

Oh yeah, it was ridiculously huge too, 700. I doubt the UIC even HAD 700 full-time soldiers when the Israel-Lebanon fighting was going on.

Forget the foreign fighters, what about the 2,000 Eritrean regular army troops?
I think the best Ethiopia was able to do was to find an off-duty Eritrean officer who was there on vacation.
Poor guy is probably in Guantanamo Bay right now.

Then there was "They destroyed tombs & desecrated corpses..." when all they did was remove a few graves from inside a couple of mosques in Baraawe and bury the remains outside in a proper place.
