career and marriage

I'd personally like to be a stay at home mum at least until my children enter full time education. I'm not against sisters who want to pursue a full time career as I would love to but like someone has previously mentioned either your career or family life will be neglected.


Oh and what a blessing Islam is anything we as sisters spend on our fmaily is saddaqah wooohoo! alhamdulilah tabarakAllah!

I find it funny how everyone is talking about the woman's role. I have yet to read what a mans' role is and how he can help his wife to acheive what she sets out to do. I think having a creer and a raising good children is possible, however putting all the weight on the womans' is unfair to say the least. If the husband can step up to the plate and do his part, I think it can be acheived.
