In some parts of Somalia and Ogadenia, girls aren't supposed to drink tea. The taboo is that bahalka gets softer if they drink too much tea... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Same here in our family... gabdhaha shaah ma cabaan raggana qaxwo ma cabi karaan... well they can drink but all the elders will throw in some insults.. :|

I don't about bahalka, but I heard they shouldn't drink for some reason I forgot at the moment, lakiin I think the elders and men made that up purposely so there would be less people to drink tea, with the scarcity of tea back then! :lol: :lol:

But now everyone drinks it!! Its not a taboo anymore!
