cash or plastic?

Yo, Cruella, most of my college days were plastic. i charged my card for just about everything b/c i lived on campus and didn't have any use for cash b/c my card was connected to my bank and was as convenient as the cash itself. nowadays though, i carry a good amount of cash on me but i still rely on my card(s).

4 credit cards?? bisinka. good on ya for maintaining them all. i have only one credit card. i used have 2, 1 visa and 1 mastercard. i now reduced to only 1(visa) with half of the limit you carry on yours. i only use it to purchase airline tickets/hotel or maybe rent a car...that's it. i never touch it otherwise. when i go the mall, i purposely leave behind my credit card and use my debit.

i guess some folks have control with credit cards when it comes shopping with them, i don't i have this little evil mini me telling to spend naya..spend nayaa..now now now.

back in collage, i had a student credit card with a $500 limit that the bank gave me when i deposited my federal student loans. i maxed it out the first day i got it.

I know people who have multiple cards with high limits and a total credit line of $500,000 or more.

All on salaries under $80.000

Why ? When I do an AbdiBile back to Hobyo, I will set up AW Enterprises Courtesy of Mastercard, Discover, Visa and Amex.

I can control my spending, I rarely use my credit cards unless its like a big purchase like a TV or couch which are my two recent purchases actually.
I remember at one time I had a client of mine that had about 250K in credit card and line of credit debt...I was like flabergasted. They had to sell their home in order to pay it all. It was freakin redic. So when I see ppl like that, its a constant reminder of how out of hand it can get.

Never owned a credit card in all my life. Mostly use my debit cards or cash. Prefer cash as i have better control of my outgoings. I even use cash for big purchases, ps3, laptop all got purchased by cash lol
