Portugal tried and failed to conquer Somalia in the 1500s and 1600s, the Ajuran dynasty of Mogadishu were the only east African country to succeed in driving them off.
Something to be proud of really.
Today though the only enemies Somalia has is Ethiopia. All its other enemies are only enemies for supporting the Ethiopian side, and aren't against Somalia per se.

Where did you get Somaliland support Ethiopia? And what does not being in the same political entity have to do with being enemies?

Because Somaliland was created by Issaqs, allies of Ethiopia. And Somaliland hates Greater Somalia dream
Everybody knows that man.

Unfortunately you're wrong on all accounts. Somaliland was not created by a single clan. Furthere there is no clan that is associated with Ethiopia. Last, Somaliland does not hate Pan-Somalism. Somaliland is just not willing to give up its sovereignty for an illusion.
Also, this cuban angle you're peddling needs a rest.

You are wrong man,Somaliland belongs to Issaqs who created SNM in 1981.
In April 1981, a group of Isaaq emigres living in Jeddah, Saudi Aribia formed the Somali National Movement (SNM), and at the end of 1981 it was announced in London.

SNM and Somaliland are not one and the same. Your source is missinformed. SNM was instrumental in bringing about the conditions to give the people to express their desires. ie winning the war of liberation from the yoke of siad barre's tyranny. However; it was the stake holders in the former Northern regions of the Somali Democratic Republic that decided to reclaim their sovereignty.
In any case, this process doesn't have anything to do with Ethiopia and does not mean Somaliland and Somalia are enemies.
Lastly, Cuba is but an insignificant footnote in the 1977 war. Your fifteen minutes are up in the horn of africa. I think its time to look for another angle.

An insignifican footnote:
Let me show you the opinions of somali writers about cuban troops.
The airlift was valued U.S. dollars two billion plus 17.000.00 Cuban troops and thousands of Russian and East European advisers. The then Soviet Union and Warsaw pact army troops came to the aid of the defeated army of Ethiopia and re-occupied Somali Ogadenia for Ethiopia
The opinion of ONLF:
Cuban troops and Warsaw Pact pilots and aeroplanes defeated the Somali army and reinstated Ethiopian occupation in the Ogaden
Somali successes
were momentary once the Soviets, Cubans, and Yemani contingents intervened and helped
Ethiopian troops beat the Somali army. This defeat has been catastrophic for Somalia and the
liberation movement. In Somalia an armed political power struggle among the elite ensued,
culminating in the state's collapse and in the country's disintegration in 1991.
If you wish I can send to you more sources.
Is obvious even for somalis that cuban army was important in 1978.
With the help
of thousands of Cuban troops opera ting soph i s ti c a ted Russian we a pon s , the Et h i op i a n s
ej ected the Somali army from the disputed terri tori e s

The USSR was important. Cuba and Yemen were just like Ethiopia another third world country. Nothing to add except for being foot soldiers. If you are going to glorify being a foot soldier then so be it. However, like I said Cuba is insignificant in the world. They're not even important in South America and the carribean. Venezuala has that mantle. I suggest you quit while you're ahead.

An interesting video:
I lobe that video it shows how we kicked somali ass.
Do you want more source,Salah?
Man,you are talking with an expert about Ogaden War.
Wait let me show you more somali articles:
Said Samantar,perhaps you know him.
The Ogaden War of 1977-78 between Somalia and Ethiopia and the consequent refugee influx forced Somalia to depend for its economic survival on humanitarian handouts (see The Ogaden War: Performance and Implications of Defeat , ch. 5). Domestically, the lost war produced a national mood of depression
I have shown you many somali sources which prove that cubans were important, now show me your sources if you are a serious man.You have your point of view but the somali experts like Samantar and Hussein dont agree with you,so I believe them because they are expert and you dont.
At the end of it all, a massive refugee crisis existed and the Somali military, which was no match for Cuban armed troops and their Soviet puppet masters, was in shambles.
Somalia was not match for cubans, :twisted

As I said the USSR defeated Somalia. No shame in losing to a Super Power. I just don't understand what you're yapping about Cuba for. I explained to you that there role was as foot soldiers. That time has passed. What does Cuba want now? Shouldn't you be holding some kind of vigil wondering if Fidel is going to survive this September?
