^^^ waa sad walahi. but im sure its only them to be blamed, because they have the caqli now to decide whether what they doing is right or wrong. we cant blame the parents always, its not fair on them. :(

Atleast they were fighting- which is something normal to Somalis nowadays..but the girls that were dancing 'Baraanbur' in a lil corner at the end of the first night were MUCH worse. I knew some of the girls, but could not stop them! They were too excited for some odd reason :? :( Subxan'allah!

i thought GPU was a religious event??? whats with a baraanbur and fighting???    :(

Thats what im thinking :?

Were they little girls? ama teens

Those who were fighting were teens- I'd say around 17/18 years old. The ones that were dancing were around 17/18/19 years old..!

I really dont know why they were fighting..After Athaan'ul Asr, all I saw was one girl running after the other- and boom b!tch fight kicked off. Ceebta ba igu daraan..rag islaameed ba kala qabanaayey...!

As for the ones that were dancing, what I can I say..they were having fun in a wrong place. :|

I might go this year, have never been before. It sounds interesting, although I must admit that I'm not a big fan of the "Halaal Songs"........Yes the message is great however I just don't like the sound of it...

Muslim Rap groups tend to be bad.......

They have an interesting line up, so might give it a go this year...

SenseofMorality walalo it shouldnt make you stop going there. maybe all these girls need is a right guided, well mannered, well dressed somali girls that they can look up to, and copy from them. after all what our community lacks is role models that these youngesters can look up to.

in for wisdo lol@ "halaal songs" i agree music and religion shouldnt be mixed together. i mean there are so many "religious" rappers these days, but they all rap with music and isliamic words. not smart idea./
