when i was leaving somaliland Our Plane Landed in Adan Yemen, for a short stop, and Adan is suppose to be the second capital city of Yemen, if you lknew how Beautiful that airport was Compare to Berbera shid hole Airport no words can descripe it.....

Cadan iskaba dhaaf, even Rayan Airport, a small tuulo in Yemen had a better airport than Gaalkacyo. Our leadership failed, but I'm proud of my people in Puntland for building what they have built, and I'm also proud of the Somalilanders for giving the rest the hope that big things are possible. I don't have the right to look down on the achievement of my people there, when it was the leadership that failed. Hargeisa and Bossasso are success stories, don't forget that. They came through, even with all odds against. They really show what the people, not the leadership of Somalia can accomplish.

I don't believe in Puntland either, but since I'm in the west, I can only give respect to the people who are still struggling over there and making things happen.

Dawwa, that's because we are NOT supposed to go there. Imagine coming back here getting stopped in passport control and trying to explain why I have the stamp of a country I am NOT supposed to be going to. Who needs that problem?

Half of the visas on my passport have Arabic signs on them and I have traveled with that same passport to the UK and Europe not too long ago.

No problem there...

Those Western Somalis have their citizenship, what can the west do if they find out they visit Somalia? Nothing...

Hey I went too Both Gaalkacyo and Hargeisa! they didnt put a stamp on my passport? They wanted too charge me extra in Gaalkacyo but I told them too fukk off.

I might go there this summer! I didnt get too go there last time.

Anyway whats with the one floor building? eitherway it looks good Manshallah Ilaahey haa u siyadiyo.

Everyone was stamped, only European and American Somalis for some reason weren't....

My passport is an Emirati one.

The one floor is enough, the airport will only be managing 5 flights a week with about 150 people per flight, meaning 750 people per week.

Yeah thats why, European and North American passports dont get any stamp, all we pay is some fee, in somaliland they will take 50$ xaaran dollars, for no fuking reason.... and when you asked them where is the money going? they will tell you stright my Pocket

Saxiib this States of somalia such as somaliland and puntland are just robing their own people, even tho i believe PUntland is Doing 100 Times better then somaliland, the business in Easten somaliland is 100% connected to Bosaaso because Bosaaso looks after their customers, no matter what Qabiil or region they hail from, but somaliland is there to rob their own people, i have been to berbera Port all you is a 2 ships owned by Indho Deero and thats it, so how the fuk are you suppose to do Business?......

General.. yes we do have one of the richest people in somali, but thats thanks to the rest of somalis, Indho Deero's goods reaches all the way to Xamar, he sells his goods in Ethiopia zone 5, and southern somalia, and look at Dahabshiil 80% of his income comes from Southern somalia, wtf has Somaliland to offer nothing!!!!!!!!

I think they were done with the exterior when I was there, only painting.

They must be furnishing it now, it must be done around January I suppose...? It will be finished before the summer of 2009...
