save your vacation money for better places. 4 day vaca is not enough to spend money on airfare hotel etc. it should be at least a week. so my advice, brave it out and go when you have a great deal of time off...and head out to some place far away from home/work like Seychelles, bora bora, etc..and enjoy/relax..

1. Tanzania

I am going to Zanzibar for 6 days, followed by a trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro and to south to Lake Tanganyika (2 largest lake in Africa) and back to Dar-Es-Salaam Tanzania

2. Kenya

1 week in Nairobi.

3. Somalia

3 days in Xamar, 2 days in Marka and 7 days in Galkacyo & 5 days in Hobyo

How are you going to travel between Xamar and Gaalkacyo. Those roads have high level of Isbaaro and roadside bombs

The road from Afgoye and beyond is free of isbaaros plus there will be no Amxaar & TFG when I get to Somalia

Last time when I was in Somalia, I kept hearing how trucks full of goods were totally looted between Beletweyn and Gaalkacyo.

One of the most dangerous roads in Somalia, wallahi. They wouldn't care if you were a fellow HG/Sacad, all they want is dollars.

Flying between Mogadishu and Gaalkacyo is only 200 dollars, that is much safer.

Okay, Im down...but I how will I be protected in somalia?
I dont want ppl kindapping me and asking my family for ransom...or maybe they'll be able to tell that Im not 100% Somali.

The wadaads are in charge nowdays. The most you might suffer is being karbashed cuz u are eating because some Jahiil Wadaad forgot travelers are exempt from fasting.

No more isbaaros from Gelinsoor to Galkacyo thanks to Galmudug We got a prison full of isbaaro artists
