If only Digil y Mirifle didn't have some of the biggest religious establishments in Somalia. In places like baardheere and Baraawe where people from all over the country used to go to study Islam
Islam reached them the last in Somalia, some remote villages in Bay and Bakool that are not Muslim still exist. Not many but they deffintly exist, Somalia is not 100% Muslim there is still a small minority that follows traditional African religions.

Al Shabaab should focus converting these African bushmen instead of focusing all on war.

somali lamagodleys are still illiterate nomads and can easily be played with their emotions.

there is sunni muslim (sufis etc)

wahabi/salafi muslims (though not many)

look what this athiest wrote;

If someone approached you and asked you, "why did you choose that religion" many people would simply say..."its the religion of my parents, yada yada yada."

That being said, why do you entrust countless hours of your time, and virtually your entire LIFE, to your religion? In this case, Islam - what makes you confident that your time isn't wasted with religion?

In other words, what has convinced you, other than family tradition, that Islam is in fact truth and not just belief?

Can you effectively PROVE that Islam is fact? Can anyone for that matter? Do you know of an Islamic scholar who can prove to me that Islam is fact and not just belief. Because, after countless lectures and conversations, I've come across Islam, as with any other religion, to be entirely about faith, not facts. Most of you will agree, unless otherwise proven.

American-Suufi,

Suufism is a Lamagodley tradition. Lamagodleys have a higher percentage of Suufis among them than any other nation of Muslims.

After 20 years of Lamagodley suffering and slavery - why do you still hang onto their polluted version of your religion?

I find it difficult to call someone oo ashahadanaya a non MUSLIM or not 100% MUSLIM, in this case SUUFIs. They maybe deviated from the Sunnah al nabi but they are still Muslims and their doings are between them and ALLAH.

I am noticing alot of Somalis practicing Suufism including some of my relative and despite some disagreements they are better than alot of people who claim to follow the Sunnah,yet don't follow any of the pillars of Islam.

Religion, or lack of it, is the last thing I want to force on Lamagodleys. They even refuse to eat. What the fock can I do about that?

I just want them to evolve their brains to the modern stage so they can broaden their narrow little horizons.
