General stop signaling Abdullahi Yusuf out cuz that shows you are only coming from tribal vision. Don't blame him if he was the most cunning and smartest warlord of all of them and any ways wallahi I would say out of all of them Abdullahi Yusuf deserves more degree of respect and even admiration. He built Puntland and under his watch blossomed into what it is. I can dislike Abdullahi Yusuf
arent you doing the same by defending Yey becaus of qabil

THe irony here is that I would ever be accused of defending Yeey because of qabiil. So let me take a minute to first laugh.

Secondly do you always talk daft or do you actually take time to critically read and comprehend. If you notice I defended Abdullahi Yusuf based on one thing which is the fact under his rule in the north east, that land and people effectively saw peace, security and development once again return to them. Heck they even caught up to and surpassed the Somaliland that received peace 9 year before them. Like I said he is a power hungry dictator and admittedly he ruled it with an iron fist, but that does not stop the fact not a single checkpoint, gun-totting mooryaan, or anything else existed his rule. It might as well have been an independent country with working institutions.

Again, is that comparable to the neanderthal baboons that raped and farted on MOgadishu???

These warlords are not there for themselves. They have die hard supporters and financiers. But by just watching that makes one wonder those who support these clowns, do they feel ashamed of anything?

The War-lord years have come to an end. Frame Leadership is taking place.

How M/dheer's face changes when shaking hand with Ina Ceydiid, has an indication on what had followed the peace talk. M/dheere body reaction completely changes from a happy bunny with AY, to angry militant with Ceydiid.

Perfect reflection of the people they represent. No?

And the notion that Abdullahi Yusuf is irrelevant in Somali politics is laughable. He controls a large, stable region in the north and heads a government in Mogadishu that, as pathetic it may be, exerts its fair level of control for an october 2004 project.

You'll never hear me say he has some form of control over the Ethiopian presence in Mogadishu, maybe some limited influence at best. But Voltage never forget that it was the Islamic courts who made the Ethiopian presence in Mogadishu possible, not AY perse. And definitely not AY alone, the defeated Mogadishu warlords were just as guilty.
