That's the whole point of Shilling's post. There is a hadith calling for lapidation in cases of adultery by the same token there is Quranic injection contradicting the Hadith. In Islam when the Quran and any other article of faith conflict, the Quran takes precedence. It's the responsibility of those who support lapidation for adultery (I'm guessing you're one of them) to refute Allah's injections in the Quran.Ismahan123 wrote:There is a hadith saxix that talks about the consequences of adultary..look for it.
Which hadith conflicts wich verse regarding stoning?NoAngst. wrote:That's the whole point of Shilling's post. Please do...Kolombo wrote:Walahi, I'm tempted to set this fool straight & show him ample evidence that not only is stoning prescribed punishment for adulterors in Islam, but that it ordered by the Prophet (saw) on different occassions & was practiced during his lifetime & during the other 2 generations of the Salafs.

The Hadith you and Alshabaab use as justification. Allah's words are provided by Shilling. I think the Hadith was posted in the other thread.Kolombo wrote:Which hadith conflicts wich verse regarding stoning?NoAngst. wrote:That's the whole point of Shilling's post. Please provide evidence to back-up your claim.
If it ain't my favorite Wahaabi, Koronto. Again substituting the Divine Command with anything else amounts to REJECTING it, and thereby, loosing one's faith in Allah. Those who advocate the "Stoning to Death" to be a better deterrent than "flogging" are in reality promoting their personal beliefs above the Wisdom and Knowledge of Allah.Period of the Revelation of Sura Nur:
The consensus of opinion is that it was sent down after the Campaign against Bani al-Mustaliq and this is confirmed by vv. 11-20 that deal with the incident of the "Slander", which occurred during that Campaign. In other words, the Sura was revealed in around 6 A. H. The next obvious question would be was the penalty of "Stoning to Death" proclaimed by the Prophet (s.a.s.) before or after Revelation of Sura Nur. It is inconceivable that the Prophet who has been declared as the best of the examples for the Ummah, could reject the Revealed Divine Penalty and dictate his own. Almighty Allah is Supreme happens to be the uncompromising basic belief of Islam. If the penalty of stoning to death was proclaimed by the Prophet prior to the Revelation of Sura Nur then that proclamation became null and void the day Sura Nur was Revealed for mankind.
Here is an interesting narration from Al-Bukhari:
Narrated Ash Shaibani: I asked 'Abdullah bin Abi Aufa, "Did Allah's Apostle carry out the Rajam penalty (i.e., stoning to death)?" He said, "Yes." I said, "Before the revelation of Surat-ar-Nur or after it?" He replied, "I don't know." Al-Bukhari, Hadeeths 8 - 804 and 8- 824
Hadiths also come from Allah, unless of course you're implying that the hadiths are the Prophet's inventions (saw) and somehow they hold no merit and should be rejected.NoAngst. wrote:The Hadith you and Alshabaab use as justification. Sxb, I might be a fool but I sure as hell ain't dumb enough to pass Allah's word in Sura Nur for a Hadith...but you rise a good point so here is what others who did a research on this topic said:
