Sudan, Kenya, Angola, Nigeria etc

Africa will all be in major economic problems by 2009. I wouldn't be to happy. Gold, Crude, Platinum, Corn, Rice, Coffee everything that Africa exports is down and all the western investors are running away from emerging markets (Africa) and hedge funds are deleveraging like crazy.

UAE is a much more diversified economy and they always have billions (trillions?) of petro-dollars to back them up, Sudan has nothing.

actually dawwa Africa is the only region coming out well of the financial crisis because of our limited interference in the credit market bubble that eventually exploded.
And coffee is a retro cyclic investment in bad times the price goes up if you dont believe check real time *

Sudan and UAE cannot even be compared.

The latter being very difficult to obtain real wealth, you live and make money practically on the mercy of the rulers, think about it . If you buy a simple aparment in Dubai today with contract and everything read the small letters they say you are leasing it for 80 years.

I recommend Somalis strongly to invest in Sudan.
any tigther Somali Sudanese relations is very good both strategically , islamic , regional and in brotherhood.

Khartoum ----> Hargeisa
Khartoum-----> Bosaaso
Khartoum------> Mogadishu

smells like Success to me.

However we should involve ourself imediately in the politics of Sudan
get a minister or two and keep an eye on the situation.
The only thing i dont like about Sudan is the political unstable situation.

otherwise its 10 000 % better then UAE which is very xaasidiin.
you just live there all your life and when you are retiring they probably confiscate your lproperty and kick you out

Somali contractors sell their apartments and towers as soon as possible to avoid some big fish sheikh to ' nationalise ' their projects when its finished.

Al Bashir is an idiot , he should do something about the rashidi arabs blocking the coast

its assets in UK are frozen ( probably spended/borrowed by a desparate Brown government now in f
financial turmoil ) We cant forget that no Western institution such as Amnesty or Human Rights or whatever

If I were Khartoums leader I would befriend those masaakin muslims

George Bush's troops in Iraq bombed civilians and blamed it on the insurgents. Some of his troops disguised as Iraqis and went or shooting/bombing rampage that killed many civilians. The Darfur armed factions who work for and were armed by the West, did what George Bush's troops did in Iraq.
