Abdi,
I forgot one step. Shaykh Jilani. He became Principal of the Hanbali school in Baghdad about 1151 ADand organized the first Sufi Tariqa as a missionary organization shortly therafter. He lived to an old age and was buried at his own request in the prayer hall of the Hanballi school, where he is frequently visited even today. Most of the other Tariqas split off from this one. Mosque burial has an ancient tradition and was not considered shirk.

Mohammed Abdille Hasan and Aweys al Baraawe were both leading members of the Qadiriya in Somalia. In a famous exchange of gabay that shows the degree he was influenced from the contemporary Nejd, Sayidka accused Shaykh Aweys of bidca in the matter of mosque burial and the Cult of the Saints. Aweys accused Sayidka of having more than five wives.
As it ended up, the followers of one killed the other. Shaykh Aweys was buried at the mosque in Baraawe, from which he was recently removed by agents of the ICU.

Learning about your religion or pseudo-practices of your religion from a kaaffir? That says a lot about you.abdi ilyas wrote:grant, thank you 4 explanation it helps allot.
Grant,
Sh. Aweys was buried in Biyooleey, I visited his grave as a kid along with my madrasah teachers.
He was never buried in Baraawe and the ICU never touched his grave.
Why are you lying?

Kolombo,
Shaykh Aweys and all but one of his disciples were murdered at the jaamat in Biyoole in 1908. Were you around then?
Read your history:

The Banadir Ulama produced five saints who were the subject of siyarro. Shaykh Aweys was proclaimed the founder of the Aweysiyya and buried in Baraawe, as his followers broke with the Qadiriyya. They later pursued Sayidka into Ethiopia, where he died of influenza and his wounds at Immay in 1920. These guys were serious.
