Natural gas is a great industry, and it's one that Somalis can actually take advantage of.

There actually isn't much point in drilling for oil in Somalia OR Somaliland until there is a refinery in operation, otherwise even if you do strike oil, you still need to import all your Gasoline, Propane, etc. Crude oil isn't good for anything without a refinery.

There actually is an oil refinery outside Mogadishu, but it's been mothballed for 17 years. As far as I know it's intact.
Probably enough engineers in the diaspora to get it working again too.

I still wanna know from those familiar with the firm, do they bring in already processed and refined natural cooking gas in bulk and basically fill up canisters for retail customers. How much does it retail for and size of cannister?

Also again where do they import the liquefied petroleum gas from?

I think digging up water would be more vital than gas supplies. Not even sure if any of the locals would actually be enjoying the services of this company. “With all the recession that is going on” lol

Just imagine; healthy people in back home are those whom are in recipient of money sent from abroad, maximum of about $100 per month – than how realistic is it, for them to spend about $50 a month just for hot air? Not real

Bad business!

I saw this plant in progress last time I was there. Its good that its somewhat on the outskirts, a large area aound it will see no growth because of the danger it poses. It would have been to put the damn thing away from urban areas completely with al-shabaab running we don't have the equipment to quicly put out a fire of the magnitude it would produce.
