They're different. Quebec french is archaic and contains a lot of what's termed as "anglicisme"
english loan words that have been adopted and then adapted to french and/or directly translated.

Voltage quite contrary to what Skippa said the Quebec French borrows less from Anglo than the French Spoken in France. In France there are two types of French. First is the Parisian which is basically what we reffer to as the ghetto language since they butcher the language which sometimes is hard to understand and trust me i know this because i hear it everyday at home since my parents speak that accent though they both went to school in Montreal. For Example we use the word tu alot but for them its a word that shouldnt be used since it they view it as impolite and last but not least our french has some word's borrowed from the Aboginial people while they dont. Basically our french is more relaxed. But it is true Quebec is heavily influenced by anglicisms word's though our's are much older because the people have lived among english speaking people for centuries while the French from France borrow's from anglicisms word's that are very recent and mostly they would borrow from American english rather than England english. Hope that Helps. But when we look at both the French language people from France have alot more borrowed word's from English and thus why we tell them they have betrayed the language.
