OldE in all seriousness why not study the history of Maakhiri before preaching to the masses. this are basic questions and you have no answers. is it only known to warsangalis what maakhiri is and what it is composed of.

Sagaashan wrote:OldE how did you guys come up with the most arabised word in the arabic dictionary. what does it mean, maqrib as in the west, or why such a name; any history behind the name?
Maakhirs etymology orgin is questionable but it is not Semetic. With our extensive contact with the far east, Maakhir pronouced Makhar is maybe of Farsi origins. Warsangeli history is not linked to our neigboring clans today.
Maakhir is a name which Warsangelis are called. So Maakhir State is pretty much another name for Warsangeli State.

Where ever the MJ squats they claim.
Dusty Garowe is not a place where we'd settle.
We inhabit fertile grounds where its exclusive to us, no Carab Salaax or Awrtable or Leelkase or others fights for their pie.

Dude learn some comprehensive reading, nobody said Warsans live in Garowe, I just said theres a famous Warsan Garowe resident there
By the way, Most of Sanaag is just as arid as Bari, if not more due to no laws against tree burning for charcoal.

3rd world Dubai kid I was addressing Sag

Don't worry about Sanaag its still more fertile than North East Somalia.
Re: Official national slogan of ''Maakhir State''
Dubai and ''third world''...in the same sentence
This tells us enough about your intelligence and awareness about the world economy
About the land again, no it's not, only the small mountain strip heading towards Somaliland is indeed more fertile but that only comprises 2% of Sanaag, the rest is just as arid or even worse.
