The previous Prime Minister was Darood. Abdullahi Yusuf was Darood. That was not going to work.
Similarily in this case.

Absolutely. HOWEVER, after Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmad was elected in 2004, the previous Prime Minister remained in his post until he was replaced by Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmad.
It is absolutely at the discretion of the President of the Somali Republic who holds the posts in the government, and there is actually nothing in the charter to stop him appointing whomever he likes as long as they meet the minimum requirements of the charter.
I added this afterwards:
"If you mean Shiekh Sharif can rename him, well of course he can do that. But he really can't even though it is not written in the charter. It is
expected that the prime ministership goes to a clan the president does not belong to.
However, I agree the rotating positions of Hawiye/Darod for President/Prime minister is a dangerous precedent that is forming. Someone has to break the deadlock. But it is inconceivable that it would be broken by a president and prime minister from the same clan let alone same sub-clans. More like Prime Ministership or Presidency goes to Raxanweyn or Isaaq."

I would never want AbdiNastex to win. It would sock to be forced to return home and work for his government.
Sheik Sharif is a man of the Cimamaad with little regard for the blood ties unlike Nur Caade.

Yet it was AbdiNastex who welcomed Sheik Sharif back to Xamar and ensured his plane landed at the International Airport instead of Cisseley because it would look bad if the Sheik snuck into town.
On his return, AbdiNastex joked with the Sharif before escorting him to his hotel, "I am happy to welcome you back considering you chased me from this city,"

I can't come to accept that Nur Caade has lost. i whole heartily agree with you, Amiir Nur Cade knows how to navigate and stir the wheel when the tough goes going tough.
