Fah this is a big misconception. you can speak in a heavy somali accent and still be a real american, meaning been here more than 10 yrs. wallahi its very difficult to drop the mudug/waqooyi accent suddently :lol:

sxb, i can understand in having an accent when speaking another language, thats natural

but these sound like fresh off the boat sometimes... others I can hear they have their british/american thing going on

Damn you guys we are all first generation, even the ones born here are first generation so if some of us have accents or not, who cares. I have seen an awful lot of commentary about people's pronounciations. get over guys :up:
