Murax, You have a point, but you have to realize that we have to take our shares in every government( we are talking about national government). If there is a government, we have to take our share. Isn't Puntland represented in the 4.5 formula? So why should they be given special consideration compared to all other Darood clans? As Muraax said, ppl elected in the TFG should all be from the South, because only they would have real incentive to make a change.

If I was Shiekh Shariif, I wouldn't pay attention to Puntland at the moment. The PM position should be given to a Mareexan or Ogadeen or D&M.

What I'm saying though is any President shouldn't even be thinking about Puntland/Somaliland until they have a viable South. Then We can talk about a National Government. Until then theres no National Government, its just on paper. Dr Faroole ain't taking orders from Xamar and neither is Riyaale. Basically Shareef should be thinking How to restore a Dawlad that controls from Southern Galkacyo all the way to Raskambooni, then Pland/Sland will join the fold and voila You have a Dawlad in place as those places can make a seamless transition since they already have Governments. I say Southern leadership should dominate these next couple of years as a form of shock therapy not as a permenent solution. After that leadership can go to a Bantu or a cadcad or what have You.

To be honest the best He can be is Madaxweynaha Southka, and I'd be shocked if He was even able to attain that title


Puntland sure as heck won't be taking orders from Him and neither will Hargeisa. If He can control all 16 districts of Xamar by Himself that would be considered a big accomplishment in and of itself. That being said Inshallah He picks a daacad MJ who will not act like a wakiil of Puntland in the South, but will be committed to bringing about some serious change. You remember How AY behaved about the Puntland oil, sending weapons from Xamar to Puntland etc. Thats foolxumo behavior for someone with a National title.
