Captain, in all honesty, i am begginning to dislike some of what my fellow kinsmen are doing. If we are to support Sheikh Shariff, then we have to abide by him irrespective of who he chooses as PM. There is no point in rejecting individuals because they hail from a certain clan. That is just plain antagony because it will mean no matter what PM is chosen, he will always be rejected by certain 'rival' clans. Mind you, that is just one of the many corrupt mentalities carried by most Somalis of the past generation.

I'm on record as having opposed Maslax running for both President & PM.

You have a point there, however i dont like the idea of punanis always being president or pm . Who in God's name do they think they are?

Captain, it took roughly 20 years for Somalia to reach rock bottom today, that is why i am sceptical about the outcome of this government. Sometimes one has to make a critical analysis to fully understand the situation. Even if this government was given so much investment and support, we have to remember that its foundations were built upon foreign influence. Hence the forces who hold the most ground are very unlikely to accept it nonetheless they have that right to do so.

When it was the war against Ethiopian forces, i automatically aligned myself with the opposition for the sole reason that i absolutetly loathe the foreign enemy. But when it is a political war between Somalis, i keep my distance. I learnt not to blindly trust any of the warring Somali groups after the fall of the ICU, because they showed that even something which appears honest will have its agenda against the interest of many people.
