Re: Quote of the century
This different tone form Kolombo and Air Canada from just a week ago. Funny hoe one's qabiiil can change anything. The Sheik knows his government wont' go anywhere unless he gets Punland on board. If Hawiye get on the board as welll, all these little religious sects won't stand the way, after all Somalis value qabiiil more than the religion

But Majirto, why would Hawiye get on board if all you've got to offer is this?
Cumar waa nin mutacalim ah oo dagan. Laakiin waa nin lagu yaqaano sida uu u neceb culimada Soomaalida oo uu yaqaano "Gar Dheeraha iyo Dadanaha oo uu haweenka u yaqaano".
Cumar salaada kuma fiicna tukashadeeda iyada oo uu marmar kuu tukado uu ku tukado kursi. Wuxuuna si aad u wayn u cunaa jaadka. Markii uu ka shaqaynayay Sudan iyo Sierra Leone wuxuu dadaal badan ku bixin jiray in jaad uga yimaado Nairobi ama Addis Ababa.
Khibrad Siyaasadeed la'aan Soomaaliya ah
Cumar C/Rashiid wuxuu intii badnayd noloshiisa joogay wadamada Qurbaha. Maxamed Cumar Geelle oo ay in badan is yaqaaneen ayaa KismaayoNews u xaqiijiyay in Cumar uu Soomaaliya ka badiyo siyaadadeeda Sierra Leone iyo Sudan iyo Kanada oo uu mudo ku noolaa. Caqabadaha kale ee Cumar haysata waxaa weeye isaga oo aan diinta ku fiicnayn uuna Soomaaliya ka jiro Kacaan Diimood oo xoog leh. Maxamed Cumar Geelle oo ay aad isu yaqaanaan ayaan yidhi Cumar waa nin xataa markaad ku salaanto Assalamu Calaykum ku jawaaba "Galab wanaagsan" mar ma garanayo buu yidhi si uu dib u heshiisiin ula gali doono axzaabta Islaamiga ah ee waliba ka shakisan cid walba oo ama Qarama Midoobay u shaqaysay ama ay tazkiyo siinayso.

Ismahan,
If Sh. Shariif had no choice but to pick an MJ as his PM, there are plenty of MJs who have a clean record & strong moral character. Somalia's first PM lives in MN. Shariif should have gone to him and pleaded with him to become the next PM. From what I heard, he's a regular at the Masjid too. Why not go to strong men like that, that way these groups will have no excuse to legitimize their moral superiority claim over you? And no reason to be opposed?

Re: Quote of the century
this whole argument for Kolombo doesnt make any sense and you guys are agreeing with it.
Al Shabaab and Xizbul Islam have promised to wage war against anything and anyone that Sharif appoints. This point was reiterated yesterday by the Abu Mansur himself, and Xizbul Islam has already declared war on the Amisom. i dont think C/rashid's appointment is gonna win Sh. Sharif any new friends. but anybody even if he appointed Sh. Cumar Farooq was gonna have a field day with Al Shabaab. Plus the aim of Alshabaab is not to negiotate but to see the Sharia law implemented in its totality while this government is run by the international community.
the best news is that Sh. Sharif promised not to engage this groups militarily.

Sh Sharif committed his first great miscalculation and this might haunt him in the future. I am now officially a spectator. Let's watch where this takes him

TL,
why wait anything good from a guy who gave up his wadaadnimo to become a president of a failed state through collobarations with the international community. its not like this guy is holed up in an office in mogadishu calling the somali people to build a national unity government

Well the noble man from MN is very old and his healthy is deteriorating as it is. However, that is not to say there are not other who would complement Sh.Sharif in this post that are of MJ decendent. I just don't understand how if they both are at opposite ends in ideology, they can accomplish anything. As far as I recall, Sh.Sharif wants Sharica law and this man is clearly not going to agree to that. I just makes no sense wallahi. Like you said, now ALshabaah will have a valid reason to terrorized and kill more.Kolombo wrote:Ismahan,

Ismahan,
Shareef was never going to rule by Shariah Law the day He swore on a constitution. That being said as Somalis We gotta take what Whatever we can get and not be greedy.

Re: Quote of the century
Abu Mansur calling you a murtad doesn't make you un-wadaad. Get your basic history right. I don't question his sincerity and wadaadnimo. I question his judgment to leadSagaashan wrote:TL,

TL,
my point. like Murax said, the wadaad's judgment failed when he accepted to rule through orders. their is no somali government, this is a UN run government. We are acting like this guy is indepedent and is making decisions on his own. if you approved his appointment by the UN, C/rashid was also approved by the same body.
