That and 'waan kaa helay abaay'...I was convinced Somali guys all go to some shukaansi lessons to learn them. They all sound the same....well, maybe not all of them but definitely most.


LaQaNyO, it is not so much the nooh it is what comes before it. I just think a person should mean it when they tell someone they love them. Saying that after a few days of going out with them is not right.

:lol: Gifted, I remember SOA radio having a whole programme on this for weeks on end....discussing whether love exists or not and why Somalis aren't too fond of expressing it....I don't think there was a conclusive answer in the end.

I reckon no one should say it unless they really mean it...otherwise it becomes irrelevant.
