You guys missed the entire point behind this disagreement, the issue is about isolating Somaliland and as usual try to out do the Isaaq by giving the foreign minister post to a non-Isaaq as usual a disgruntled Daarood minority, killing 2 brids with 1 stone. By giving the post to a northern Daarood minorities the Daarood are gaining 1 usefull ministery and try scam the world by advancing a united Somalia facade.

Now sheekh Shariif and most of Hawiye know it well and to accept a Daarood minority from Somaliland as the foreign ministery of supposedly united Somalia would outrage Somaliland giving the recent welcome signs from Somaliland vice-president. So sheekh Shariif must retrun the favour by denying the Puntland policy of Clansim claiming parts of Somaliland based on silly kinship.

If sheekh Shariif gave any post to the few theifs from the North that would be a sign of conflict with somaliland an issue most Hawiye carless about and an issue that the minority Daarood vehemently oppose.If the Majeerteen mean well for their minority kins from Somaliland they would have given them the post of Prime Minister instead of foreign minister thus convenicing the world into 50/50 forumla of south and north.
