Abdiwahab, why shouldn't someone be picky, I mean it is the person that you will hypothetically spend the rest of your life with.

WSM, he's brutally honest  , however I don't like how he makes it seem that an older women should just settle with anyone willing to marry them.

Warsan,

Men are not blind to signals, we may choose to ignore some.

Ismahan,

Its the money. You must be one of those NO MONEY NO HONEY sisters.

Gifted,

You can be picky because you are young & cute. But when Eedo Ismahan is acting picky & is single while your generation are entering the market, hmm... tough choice

Choice # 01 - Open minded, less experienced, Optimist Young woman like Gifted

Choice # 02 - More experienced, Pessimistic Sister like Ismahan

Ismahan,

Million proposals  Yet you have yet to top my offer

Gifted,

Adeer, you get my point. I am a fan of younger women. There was a period in my life I only sought out women older than me but got defeaned by the sounds of their ticking BIOLOGICAL CLOCKS ... TICK TOCK TICK TOCK.

With younger women, the clock is not ticking and no deadline to run against.

Gifted; I gather you're waiting for that extremely handsome guy, extremely rich guy, that will come on his white horse at your door step and say, " I love you, I've always waited for you, you complete me," And then he takes of your shoes and kisses your feet?

I think his telling them to be realistic, more than anything else. Who the heck believes in Prince Charming and Mr perfect? :|

Marriage is not rosy, but theres one positive news I have, in a recent study it said married couples live longer than single ones.

AW;
Oh really? So you would know if a girl wanted, without her making it obvious?

WSM, that's so cheesy.  Like you said realistically a person like that doesn't exist, but that doesn't mean one has to lower their standards because they're getting older, I've seen alot of women do that i.e marry a man with no sharci or someone that doesn't suit them at all, only to get divorced the next year. What's the point?
