How much of domestic chores are we talking about? Most men dont mind doing chores around the home but i doubt it will ever be 50/50 maybe 30/70.

Killing the Kitchen, Toilet, Bedrooms, hoovering the house, shopping, laundary, cooking. etc
Out of that list, I think Somali men only do the Shopping, well in my household we never do the shopping, or take out the garbage, thats about it.
Babygirl; Washing your feet is a pleasure for him, not a chore nooh

Babygirl...you and Western_Star_Muslimah need to realize it's part of our culture that men and women have a 50/50 relationship:
We talk, you listen
You cook, we eat
We make a mess, you clean it up

Am not going to be his unpaid servant
If he doesn't help out than he will be sleeping in the back yard :

It is the Hooyo's fault... nd worst of all it is vicious cycle!
I remember throwing fits when i was told to do everything for my brothers... but the most ironic thing is when i now tell my little sister to do stuff for her brothers
Never say never.... Ironically you might find yourself in the same situations as 'those mothers' one day!
I concurred the nearest way out is to marry a guy that is 'isgoris' so that he'll appreciate everything you do for him whilst at the same time being that little extra bit harder on the boys... cause truth is hooyo kasta has a soft spot for her son.

why don't Married Somali men Help their spouses with domestic chores...
why are they still hesitating to help in the day to day Domestic Chores with their wives? The Reluctant participation is also forthcoming only after their spousal pressures ? Why so ? maxaa idin dhiman?

When everyone works like a Mad man at the Workplace why Men cannot involve themselves daily for a couple of hours at their Domestic front too ?
While some Men are already supporting majority of the Men i think are still not coming forward.
Is it not so ?
i dont know about married men.
but reality most of somali males do not know how to do domestic worsk.
i do all the outside things, like going to supermarket, buying stuff, taking little siblings to school my way to school.lol
also taking them to sport clubs, quran and all that.lol
