abdi,
i know there's lactose free milk but i like the taste of soy milk better. i do buy lactose free in other dairy products like ice cream, cheese, etc...
as for the taste...well, it doesn't taste exactly like milk..maybe powder milk. and also it depends on which brand u buy. i like "So Nice" better than "So Good".

I am allergic to subag (ghee). Anything cooked in it makes my stomach go on strike within 25 minutes. Whats it with people in the UK who love too cook with it ?
Ugh. I hate the smell, let alone being able to eat anything with it!

Firefly, I'm serious, I didn't have milk or cheese for one whole year when I was 15 because I thought it would kill me because I got sick once.

There is also rice milk which does not taste so bad and if one likes, goats milk. I've heard and read that soy is not good for human consumption, or at least not the amounts ppl take here in the West. There are debates about Soy consumption, as of late clinical and laboratory studies linked soy to malnutrition, digestive distress, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders, cognitive, immune system breakdown, and even heart disease and cancer.
