Captain, you are bordering wondering why I said the above statement. Marexaan in Mudug are surrounded by hawiye and your subclan of Majerteen borders habargedir on more sides than one. Reer Gedo marexaans do not have any borders with hawiye and you would be shocked to find a single marexaan from Gedo with even a great grandmother that is hawiye or any other non-marexaan clan for that matter, with the exception of Cawlyahan.

Marexaan Reer Gedood iyo Hawiye isma arkaan at all.

I have zero Hawiye in my bloodline and most Reer Gedoods are the same. Reer Mudug though are a different story.


Marexaan Reer Gedood are usually isku dhal and if there is intermarriage its with the OG's We border with like Cawliyahan.
