What would ismacil al jabarti think if told one of his descendents would "get in bed " with those who raided the Ka'ba with their Elephants , and bring them in muslim land { Somalia} while riding their tanks ???
AY like all his darood predecessors managed to DESTROY that old man's name !

I don't think Darood's father is buried in Yemen. Yeey was visiting a relative but not his ancestor.Executive wrote:Gifted wrote:I don't know where Hawiye was buried honestly.I thought Darood was buried in Yemen? So Isaaq and Darood were actually buried very close to each other, interesting.
Darood's father is buried in Yemen, Darood is buried in Sanaag.
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim al-Jabarti buried in Yemen is not the Isma'il ibn al-Jabarti that Darood trace to.
My theory is that the Aqeeli lineage of Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqeel travelled to Somalia upon the conquest by the Caliphate of "al-Jabarti" or the East African coast from Massawa to Mogadishu, which is why the Aqeelis descended from Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Aqeel are known as "al-Jabarti".
I believe that the Razwi lineage that Isaaq is descended from also came over in the same conquest, or perhaps a bit later.
The common ancestor of the man buried in Yemen and Darood's father is Hanbal ibn Mahdi ibn Ahmed ibn Abd Allah ibn Muhammed ibn 'Aqil. It appears that the Yemeni branch, descended from Hanbal's son Muhammad, returned to Yemen and founded the lineage that the Yemeni Isma'il ibn Ibrahim is descended from, while his other son Abd al-Samad remained in Somalia and his great-great-grandson is Isma'il ibn Ibrahim, father of Darood.

Diyeeshaha tolka, saxib we are mixed with Dir and the locals, but we are Arabs.
Abdilaahi Yusuf looks like pure Yemeni. Yemenis are dark so do the real Arabs. it's not color that defines someone's race or ethnicity. It's genetic features, culture and territorial.
