Shariat is a superior system of governance. Shariat is how it's; "extreme" or "moderation" doesn't apply to it. For example, you cannot moderate aspects of Shariat that involve Allah's commands, orders or instructions. There are instances when/where those commands, orders or instructions do not apply; and that doesn't constitute "moderation." It constitutes the exception. For instance, Allah forbade Muslims not to eat pork; but in order to survive in a situation where there's only pork to eat, a Muslim can. Conversely, a Muslim convicted of adultery will meet the punishment prescribed by Allah, and there can be no "moderation" in that punishment. That punishment isn't "extreme", and you shouldn't bother with Western standards. So relax, and rest assured Shariat is way superior to the inferior Western standards.

Our religion advises against rushing to pass out a judgement/verdict and to kill innocent civilians, stone young girls to death.

Killing a Muslim or shedding their blood regardless of their pious credentials is forbidden.

Spreading our religion through the gun and not by good examples and peace while claiming to dismantle well established borders at the expense of civilians.
