To me it has crossed the line, i dont see any part of the ball covering up the line, however what decision did the referee make during the game.

Did he disallow the goal, did he have to involve the linesmen or did he allow it the first instance?

Exactly. And Fok you btw.

Eyes, you are right.. I believe...eventhough it was my team who scored the goal.. it was difficult to make the call without the benefit of the reply.

Cali, it was allowed, but in Italy everything is scrutinized after the game.its not the PL.

Wjhat i'm wondering is why all of these Americans all of a sudden know a thing or two about 'soccer'

Mj-Pride ayaa ugu daran, when he talks about a football game he copies text from the internet from the commentators opinion of the game.

 well done to your team then bruv

Sometimes it's all down to luck walaahi. I love it when luck goes against a team and they keep banging every chance they get against the goal post or the top bar.....and also when the ref makes a poor decision against the other team. That's what makes football great entertainment...that and the divers...great acting runtii.

I don't like all these extra rules and third ref business. Footie is best when it's dirty and raw.

Lol can you name the team, dont tell me it was in Somalia? I've had 2 scouts come and watch me play football on two occasions in Holland from 2 well known teams. The first scout after watching me play once never returned. The way it worked back then was they should see you play twice before they make a decision of giving you trials for the known football clubs. The second scout was pleased with my performance and they gave me a 6 week trial for the football club.
I had to travel every week 3 times to get there for about 2 and a half hours.

In the end they made the decision that i wouldnt be able to cope playing in my position (centre back) in such a league due to my height.

Where would we be without such footballing commotions such as the great "Phantom goal" eh?

Looks like it crossed the line, so it is a goal.

Was it allowed?
