ya....the one about the teetano (tetanus jabs) cracked me up the most. That is typical Somali walaahi. Everyone acts like they're doctors.

I can't count how many times I've heard skinnes dishing out medical advice like....'war waxaas dhaqtar ma'ahanee, daawadaan qaado warkiisa iska daay, tani waa daawo laga keenay Jarmalka'....or...'war dhaqtarkaas warkiisa kabaxee sadax ka dhigo kaniiniyaasha, hal maxuu taraa?'

I know ladies who have burned men. Boiling water, oil, etc I dont understand where they get the idea that it is okay to burn a fellow human. I understand cheating is wrong, or they might not be happy if he takes another wife, but burning? That is just extreme, and this is the west, they got their freedom and the men have found protection against Xalimo's and their Oil burning ways. They need to realise jails exist for females too.

haa. so the joke is on me miyaa. i get it. had i took the time to watch a cartoon "clip" i would've known, but sorry fah i had more important things to do. anyhow, she was not family, but it was one of the things i do for the community visit the sick, and those who need help. it was myself and two other ladies who visited her. we brought her clothes to pray with, a sali (sijaayad) and a qutaab.
