we are popular. We can live and survive without one another.

ducaysane,
isxaaq care got chased to hargeysa?

That is not true. Isxaaq carre were one of the first to settle near Hargeisa and in hawd reserve area in big numbers as well. I think the reason is Isxaaq care are from differental maternal than ismail carre.

The word "Ciidagale" was not a tribe's name, it was the name of the army of the coalition which was made up of Garxajis + Arab clans. The Arab clan was bigger than Habarawal in that time as well. <<<<<<<< The name was Ciidaangaale ur right since it was a coalition of armies Ciidaan being the name of army in Somali also so Ciidagalle is the original indigenous occupants of Hargeisa?

The HY civilwar started when King Xirsi Amaan tried to impose taxation on Habaryoonis clans like he did to other Isaaq clans.

Most of Habaryoonis clans revolted and refused to pay taxs to the Reer Caynaanshe King. The Reer Caynaanshe army which was very huge and very power then started to force each subclan when the tax period came. The Isaxaaqs fought off several times and in the last time they started to run away from the area with all their livestock and woman and kids moved to Hargeisa area. This was around 1820s. That time there was no city called Hargeisa and the region was known Herar or ceelka Herar. Only Ciidagale clans were settled there. The nearest Sacad Muse settlement were to the north of Hargeisa. Only when Bulaxaar was destroyed by huge duststorm in the late 1880s were the Sacad Muse moved their businesses to Hargeisa.

Anyways, the HY poet Mohamuud Caws Yawle talked about the HY civilwar in his poem "Iman mayso Habaryoonista aad u alwaynaysaan" he was talking to the reer Caynaanshe suldaans. You can read the poem in here, Yawle talks about a lot of things and what happened to each of the HY clans after the brutal reer Caynaanshe attacks. http://www.hoygasuugaanta.com/imanmayso.html

so I see , Isxaaq wasn't chased by Ismail Carre but they escaped from taxation, and sought shelter in territory of Herer, where the Ciidangale sphered its influence,

when did Sacad Muusa conquer Gabilay and Jigjiga??

We are a separat Son of Issaq, we just choose to form alliance with Daud Garxajis ,
formally we are both Ciidangale, but they retained the nickname of unknown reasons , ask yawle
we are as of today ARAP, mighty Arap 8-)

but does the historical facts mean we can call us ciidangale?
i think it would confuse people, our imediate kinsmen would understand
but reer bari would not....

Cisse west lake
whats the most southern point you guys live in waqooyie?

Suldaan Guuleed (1724-1810)died in 1810 at a close age of 90. The Ciidagale sultan ruled the Ilko Cas xabuusho till 1949, so the ilko cas above me thats a good 200 years. Guuleed never ruled the Habar Yoonis , with in 2 years the habar yoonis decalred Diiriye Suguule a sultan. The Isxaaq were in Hargaysa long before Xirsi Amaan was even born the idea that few reer Canyaashe could push the Isxaaq a clan thats 20 times larger then Caynaashe is silly. Who was caynaashe in 1820? isn't Caynaashe the 4th grandfather of xirsi? Caynaashe wasn't a clan nor Xirsi Cismaan was a clan in 1820 even in 1850's the Caynaashe came under the "ismaaciil care" groupings not even cabddale Ismaacil.
