I wish I took a gap year. It's been from school to college to Uni for me.

hyperactive:- Taking a gap year can be beneficial and fun, that's if you use your time wisely. But your idea sounds good, travelling and work experience will look good on your CV..

hyper so long as you know that after that one year of gap! u will go back to education, thats ok then, i would suggest go and take a gap year. do some travelling, and work if u want. but i know people taken the gap and never went back to education. for me. i just worked like a slave lol. had like 3 part time jobs, because needed the mon, for fam reasons. and after a year i was excited to go back to education. adu is qiyaas uun. which is better for you in the long run.

i'm disappointed in all the Somalis graduating this year...how selfish of u when there are so many Somalis who don't even finish high school....where's the unity

Manshala mabrook sister...May allah swt open all the right doors for you inshala-amin. If you are planning to start your career as a graduate with immediate effect... Best advice i can give you is to start looking for jobs now.. whilst you are in your last few months of study... Walahi the process is so exhausting and tiring but it pays off in the end and prevents you from getting into jobs for the sake of money... Inshala good luck and all the best sis.
