What are you junior? For college DONT apply to a large school. I know you think it might be fun to have big classes where professors don't take attendence but in the end you will understand what I mean. DON'T apply to a large school. And think seriously about private schools who will be happy to offer an overachieving minority a full ride.

Here in Canada their is two semesters and one off. which is 4 months and 2 weeks. But some people aheeeeeem need to take the extra semester to graduate this year

Quarter system seems cool. But how does it work? Does it mean credits are worth half as much as the semester system?
Semester system is awful, but like 99% of colleges have it. I've never heard of the quarterly system for college.
