u're right surrender, we are all entailed to our opinions....however, let's not make it seem that one opinion trumps or rather overrules the other. as in the case of "what is" and "what is not" inclined with the teachings of the deen. if you and i both disagree on something..and both of us are NOT breaking the rules of the deen...its best to settle the discourse on a "agree to disagree" note...rather than to uphold only your views, and vilify/solicit ill-will upon the other.

Somali girls (some) get married for the dumbest reasons....to leave their home, to have sex, etc etc. Allah already know your intentions for the marriage and its not because you want to build a life with the guy, its not because you want be a good mulimah....fok that. I beleive its worse to get married for those reasons than to do it out of wedlock. Thats just my opnion and like you said, your entitled to your own and Im for mine.

surrender, gettin married is not dambi at all and for any reason as long as u have good intentions. then again marriage is a big step therefore people should not get married for light reasons. i wouldn't recommend a girl to wed in order to avoid zina instead she should fast and the same goes for males.
