It's hard to adopt a Somali kid unless that kid is born of the agricultural people. It will even harder for Muslims of other nationalities to adopt Somalis kids, for the kids are registered as members of a tribe, and a Somali tribe would never give up the child(ren). Besides, we are Muslims and we will never ever let Kufaars adopt our kids however harsh the circumstance is.

ms.nalia, learn your history. We trace our ancestors to Bin Hashemite. Zeila and Harar had been principal strategic centers since the rise of Islam. Of course, not all Somalis are Arabs but majority are.
I have read a document that is now in my possession. It was written by a French author in the late 18th century. He visited Cape Gardufai, around Sanaag and Bari. He reveals in this document how majority of our people could write and speak fluent Arabic.
Arab is not a race but language and religion. Majority of the people in Kuweit, Iraq, Bahrain, Algeria and Libya are not Arabs by race but by language. We were part of the Arab World long before Algeria, Libya and Sudan was conquered by the swift spread of Islam.
