Voltage,
WMDs and Nukes have irreplaceable deterrent value. These stuff avoid wars. Just as the Pakis and the Indians.
What North Corea is doing is a perverted extension of brinkmanship. You can't fire missiles over countries that are suspicious of your actions. It is such an arrogant and hubristic behavior what the sick-man of South-East Asia is doing.

Re: Breaking News: North Korea launches rocket!!
Evil according to who? we were told sadaam hussien was evil, but the iraqi majority agree life was better under him. Also why does America and Britain have the right to possess nukes? and not North Korea? please explain, i cant understand the rationale behind this hypocrisy.Voltage wrote:They have no right to have WMD's! That crazy state only has the right to overthrow that evil midget who rules over them.Twisted_Logic wrote:North Corea has a right to have WMDs. What I am against is their provocative stance. You can't just fire missile over other countries.*Nobleman* wrote:America, Britain and Isreal are all hypocrites. They possess wmd and claim Iran and north korea can't. Their argument is that they are rogue states. Well Iran and Korea see America as a rogue state. Either everyone has the right to bear WMD's or noone. simple as that

There you go again talking about softness and hardness.
Tell me something, why is it that lions (you HJ) are bawling 24/7 over a presidency allegedly controled by HA (dawaco)

Re: Breaking News: North Korea launches rocket!!
The paranoia surrounding this kind of shiit when it happens always bugs me. People act as though North Korea would be stupid enough to launch a long range ballistic missle at the USA or one of our allies. Sorry, not only is that not likely to happen but the USA could render an actual launch a failure before the missile or rocket even managed to leave the platform (Sattelite imagery allows YOUto see when they're fueling up for such exercises... and believe me, THEY are on watch).
