well navy from quran they ate from forbidden tree that Allah ask them in specificly to not eat but any thing else but shaitan waswasa for them.
so shaitan was messing with both.

In fact there is passage in the quran that singles out Adam (as) but none of Eve (ra)!!!!

But Satan whispered evil to him: he said, "O Adam! shall I lead thee to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that never decays?" Surah Ta-Ha; 120

According to Christianity it seduced Eve....she was the first to eat the forbidden fruit. I'm not sure what the Quran says about who was the first to grab the fruit....unfortunately I only studied Christianity at school and it never actually crossed my mind that such basics would differ between the two religions....I just assumed the same was believed in Islam as well.

So I'd stick with Eve for now until I learn otherwise.

I'm not sure what the Quran says about who was the first to grab the fruit....unfortunately I only studied Christianity at school and it never actually crossed my mind that such basics would differ between the two religions....I just assumed the same was believed in Islam as well.

So I'd stick with Eve for now until I learn otherwise.

in the quran Allah didnt tell us who started and most of the speech was as `both`: fa was wasala huma` , fadalahuma etc as two of them. and other place in the quran Allah mentioned as singular for adam as : wa waswasa `lahu`.

though some mofasereen went into some details that quran didnt mention.
i guess Allah only wanted us know and learn our lesson and tell us shaitan is our enemy and should never let him control our thinking and action. every thing else is just not important to know any farther details.

In surah al Baqarah, ayah 30, Allah swt says:

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰئِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي ٱلأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُواْ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّيۤ أَعْلَمُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Adam and Hawa indeed excercised their free will. (1) Allah has warned them to stay away from the forbiden tree, (2) and since Allah already knows the outcomings of everything He mentioned in this ayah that Adam will be Allah's vicegerent on earth. And Allah knows best. (Please read Al Baqarah verses 30 till 36). So in conclusion, Adam and Eve were met to be on earth.

What was the point then? If the event was foreknown to God- if he knew that they would, indeed, eat the forbidden fruit- what what was the point to begin with? And if this event, as it seems to be, predetermined by God himself, why had they been blamed since they actually were following a path that was all ready preordained God himself? I don't really see how free is possible here. If God foreknew the matter infallibly, there was absolutely nothing they could do about eating the forbidden tree; if, indeed, they did not eat the forbidden fruit while God knew they would do the otherwise, that would mean they defied God into mistaking in his belief, which would have been absurd.

Doesn't the Creator all knowing of what His creations, did, are doing and will do? SubhanAllah.

And its not like Allah didnt warn them. Allah swt did warn them but they disobeyed him thus the result of this was them coming down to earth.

It is a Channel called 'Islamchannel' you can watch it online, it is a UK T.V. channel. They have Live IslamQ&A sessions (usually after Maghrib - UK time 8:24pm), sometimes I prefer some Sheikhs to others. I think anyone from any country can call. In the UK if you have the certain landline it is free (and most people have it), it usually ends early (1hr including breaks) and quite a few people call. It is beneficial alhamulilah.

The channel is quite diverse too. It has two Somali sisters as presenters, and it speaks to plenty of the Somali UK muslims on shows and etc.
