They're a sect who believe they are a re-incarnation of the first 3 generations of the Muslims (thus their name). They're very misguided and look down on other Muslims. They've several names: Salafi-Saalih, Salafi-Jadiid (The new Salafis), Salafiyuun, Salafis, Madkhalees, etc.

They follow something they call Daw'wah Salaffiyah. They were founded by a Sheikh called Rabi Al-Madkhalee in the early 90s.

Many of their followers are African-Americans, Jamaicans & new converts.

The first thing they'll ask you before anything else is "Are you a Salafi?" This is even before they ask if you're a Muslim. They consider non-Salafis to be ahlul-bida'h or innovators i.e. people who do not follow the religion properly.
