So you think Omaar is the short version of Cumar?

Cumar and OOMAAR ain't the same name that is all I'm saying.! They are as different as JAMAC and FARAX.

I always heard of that family as reer Oomaar.. but.. unless its aw-maar or some unknown somali word..
the origin of the word is omar..only slightly accentified by the brits.
