Is this the time where I talk about the whole Puntland army led by Col Carays ordered by Cabdullahi Yusuf running away from a few Cayr boys and being saved by Marehan in Balanbale?

I don't get it. How do You get from BeledWeyn to Galkacyo without going through the Ahlu Sunnah which comprised Marexaan, Hawiye, Dir?

Ahlu Sunnah is resisting a few geeljire kids with the same ideology as Al Shabaab. They have not tasted battle with Al Shababa militia.

Al Shabaab better first handle the Sacad situation before even thinking about invading puntland.

I dont know about you, but I dont see the shabab forces as a foreign entity based on qabil..

Whats the big deal if they seize power in the whole of somalia?? I dont look at them as threat..
if anything they resemble and will probably bring more peace than any other entity in somalia right now.

Indeed, I am apathetic. Only reporting and analyzing current events.

I believe Al-Shabaab will bring peace wherever they go and make sure everyone is "resting in it".

Voltage, would I be crazy in assuming ur slightly salivating at the prospect of a quick and painless takeover of Somalia by Al-Shabaab cuz of what transpired in Gedo/Kismaayo, so u can exclaim "See! They took over ur houses too!"

"They" is not an ethno-centric standing military. "They" is an ideology, invisible as the air you breathe. Your father, mother, siblings, spouse might be among them. We Marehan share with the rest of reer Koonfuur whcih is the ideology has supplanted everything else. It is now going to be given a chance to go up.

Look at the map again and see the road from Beledweyne to Jowhar. Who controls even a village south of it besides that ideology?

A few months ago We saw the pictures and the foreign fighters even that were killed outside Guricel. Again I think talking about them capturing all Somalia is premature, but if they do succeed in capturing Galgudud than all bets are off thats the toughest resistance they'll face.

That ideology has a name, and it's Al-Shabaab. The agreed facts are that Al-Shabaab chased out ur clan leader, and replaced him with some guy from some land some distance away...agreed? Regardless of the semantics and whether or not Mareexaan wadaado were at the helm of the movement, what once belonged to Mareexaan now belongs to a title other than that. Al-Shabaab sweeping through Puntland and Somaliland would exonerate u and urs of the claim that Barre Hiiraale and his clan militia were eradicated from Kismaayo by a ragtag militia, and it was all for naught since they didn't manage to even bring the entire country under their grip. Consolidating control over the entire country would prove they were an irresistible and formidable force...and ur homelands were just the first of many to succumb to their will. Don't take it as an attack on u or Mareexaan, but I can see where u might have a vested interest in their ultimate success.
