AW,
In real life, I hope you aint like that because you are full of cuqdad. Way before the actrocities against USC and SNM forces, MSB forces were slaughtering Dhabayaco people.

emperior,

the snm allied themeselves with eithopia in the destruction of somalia. they were formed in 1981 just after few years after ogaden war. how could these people who were fighting eithopia to free ogaden few years ago ally themselves with them to bomb and kill the somali army?

They didn't even have the excuse that siad barre was bombing hargeysa like he did in 89. After i learnt that snm allied themselves with eithopia and had their base in addis abbaba of all places was tthe day i said screw the SNM. They have become just another SSDF

Voltage,

I will not engage in a debate with a child like you born in Utanga Refugee camp whose history is based on the duck tales of his uncles who never fought to defend the regime and the only man who raised his clan's profile from being hunter gathers who scavenged the countryside to survive.

Guhad,

  Saxiib, you are an Ogaden brother, take the SPM olive branch and stay out of this. FYI, I don't consider Ogaden to be Darood

This is funny, so you are asserting that by embracing the so-called 'Manifesto' group's demands, the political turmoil and the violence that ensued would have never commenced?

Besides, if one is going to post that 'Manifesto' article, why not actually eloborate on the consequence behind their declaration instead of selectively posting the article and leaving it open for interpretation.

When the so-called Manifesto group published their article, they were ignored and some of them were subsequently apprehended. However, the majority of them were incoporated in to the new government headed by Maxamed Xawaadle.

This is what forced Caydiid (RH) to accuse the Manifesto of being pro-Siyaad Barre.

Finally, Jaalle Siyaad (RH) numerously appealed to the warring factions to lay down their weapons and negotiate. He even proposed the option to resign (see underlined text), a move that was rejected by the USC who enthusiastically continued their onslaught... well you know what comes after that.

 You see a lot of people will divert attention from MSB and just compare his regime to the anarchistic situation and aftermath. But they forget that Somalia has had a government since the fifties and sixties, yet those governments did not adopt the destructive ideologies of MSB's regime, at least then, politicians, generals, intellects, scholars etc were not indiscriminately raped, looted or killed for being dissatisfied with the gov't. Voltage, sxb why did MSB refuse to give way to a civilian administration when the going got tough? Why did he arrogantly say that he can only be taken down via the gun?

I am sorry but I was born in Benadir Hospital to well off parents and a nice house that, yes I will grant you, was occupied by vagrants of your clan as late as 2006. That is not the contention here no need to become defensive. The reality is all of your apologizing, all this attempt to wipe the slate clean of the events of the early 90's is a way to legitimize the legality of the opposition that was based not on nationalism, not on the welfare of any people, not on a love for any sense of justice that was or percieved to be missing but rather was based on greed and ambition that ultimately saw the destruction of the country and the capital city the president left INTACT. Never mind that very greed and ambition killed the individual you are apologizing in the most ironic of circumstances whereby his nearest of kin pulled the trigger that ended his sad life.

There is NO legality, because the objective itself was criminal minded. Siad Barre did this, Siad Barre did that...Siad Barre divided us, Siad Barre armed against against each other...well you know what? THIS is what the CIA was secretely writing to its own government about their observations of the Somali even before the late Siad had taken power!

As for the last part directed about my clan...I will only say this. The greatest man to be born from your clan is the same half-Marehan and Marehan-raised Cabdullahi Ciise. The said man's father was close to getting his ear cut off by Kenadiid's soldiers for not paying the proper fealty sum required from Sacad before Cabdullahi Ciise's mother threw herself on him and spared his father's life on account of being a Darod woman. :|

Hawiye are just trying to justify the 21 years of anarchy. I understand attacking the government regime, but slaughtering civilians simply because they were darood is savagely. The USC were animals. Barbaric animals with no remorse.

And even after they exiled the darood population, they turned on each other. Like wild dogs, they attacked each other for the Alpha position. Sub-sub-subclans of Sacad attacked each other. How can you justify that?

Abdiwahab,

How can you justify the USC attacking SSDF even though SSDF were their allies? Simply because of clan?

MBH, what does the USC have to do with this? Didn't Voltage himself say the issue is objectively studying the legitimate opposition to MSB?

The only legitimate opposition to MSB was the SSDF and Abdullahi Yusif. Aideed and the USC were war criminals not politicians. Qeybiid and the red berets were being fed by adeer MSB. and like they say, never bite the hand that feeds you.

Abakar,

Adeer, don't waste your time with these Darood kids who have been indoctrinated into Daroodismo at an early age.

The bigger question adeer is why are you not embracing Hawiyism. Listen to my lecture:
