no, I mean external exams ..important ones nd no, i haventFirefly wrote:Ka darag:- lol, so you never sat an exam whilst fasting? I've done that numerous times - and I actually done well in those exams, lol. Sis, it's all about will-power, everyone is weak to an extent including myself, but you gotta remind yourself why you're doing it? Remind yourself, you're doing it for the pleasure of your Lord, and you seek His reward, and nothing else matters. When you believe this firmly, then, Allah (swt) will make it easy for you, insha-Allah.
Hadith Qudsi 10:
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (PBUH), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says:
Fasting is Mine and it I who give reward for it. [A man] gives up his sexual passion, his food and his drink for my sake. Fasting is like a shield, and he who fasts has two joys: a joy whin he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. The change in the breath of the mouth of him who fasts is better in Allah's estimation than the smell of musk.
It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim, Malik, at-Tirmidhi, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah).
This Hadeeth, serves as a real motivation for fasting. The believer who fasts purely for Allah's Sake, his/her reward is indeed with His Lord. Alhamdulillah. Indeed, Allah (swt) is the Most-Generous!

thats why most of these young ones failFirefly wrote:Somali-Star:- The article says "If she or he has the ability or means to do so"...so there are conditions which is why I've posed those questions to you walaal.
FAH1223:- You think 21 is young? I think 25 is a good age for marriage. I agree with you though, the youth shouldn't be pushed to get married if they're not ready, 'cause it might do more harm than good. Marriage is good, if it's done for the right reasons - avoiding Zina is a really good reason, but I've always believed you can avoid Zina by other means, like fasting, keeping good company etc. Marriage isn't the only solution for it - there's no point getting married just to relieve sexual tension, and after that 'good time' is over what then? Will they face up to reality? A baby? Bills? A life long responsibility? I believe marriage serves a bigger purpose, and it's not just about 'halaal sex'..
Ka darag:- lol, why can't you fast?
all i hear brothers talkin about is getting multiple wives, multiple "bitties" as they call 'em.... but people loose sight on the responsibility

Ka darag:- What did you mean? When you go to the doctor's?
FAH1223:- Yup, it's sad. They need to be educated on the responsibilities side of it, and not just the sex bit.

Ka darag:- lol, I can't forget it now, you got me all curious. Iisheeg hee..
Exactly! That's why I believe the youth should not rush into it, they should sit down and think about it seriously, there's no point in doing something, if you can't do it properly. Marriage is not a joke, and it's not just a sex fest. It's more than that. Divorce is something that's hated in the sight of Allah (swt), so why rush into marriage just to avoid Zina, and end up divorced a couple of months down the line?Somali-Star wrote:c'mon now... marriage is half of your deen; and sex is half of your marriage.
