I support this government as matter of principle but I don't believe that it is led by the right leadership. Regardless of what happens today and in the battles to come, the necessity to change the leadership still remains.

In a fight to the bitter end, Al Shabab usually runs away from the battle-field. This has been proved by the Ethiopians in Baidoba and currently by the Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jameeca and by neighborhood boy in Yaqshiid and Boondhere.

The government troops have no moral and justification to fight to the bitter end. Unless this changes, the status quo will remain.

From what I am reading this doesn't seem like a small battle the Government has actually really launched a Massaive Military Offensive so they want real results this time around.

Anyways the leadership is the moral ground for the fight. I remember before the battle of Baydhoa A/Y gathered all the troops and give them a huge speach and insured them they were on the right side of the battle.
