This is mostly done by individuals looking to make money, it has nothing to do with clan as some idiots are suggesting here. Remember the last time, there were riots in bossaso because a shieck was arrested. So the people do not support these activities. Corruption is endemic to all of africa, somaliland is no different than puntland when it comes to handing over people to addis.

Seriously puntland needs to tell addis ababa that they don't wan't to have no part in this and will give oromo ones to them but not the ogaden ones.. If Addis has an issue we can build just cutt our losses and build ties with the international community by using the gulf of aden strategic location and the oil production...we might even gain opec memebership and sign pact with opec members to defend the oil fields...and sign a bi-lateral pact with america for an alliance and america gets to use gulf of aden in peace in return...

But that can only happen if we declare indepdence...or maybe not because international communtiy deals with taiwan and other non indepdent states and kurds and stuff..so who knows...

sxb atleast somaliland is understood why we hand over ogadens - we know isaaq and darood have a bitter history - but jeberti handing over anthor jeberti is the worst
